We are currently looking for a Sr. Director/VP, Business Management. This individual will use their strong client management skills to lead the sale of additional product and service offerings to existing clients while strengthening the on-going customer service that the company provides to its clients. This Sr. Director/Vice President will interact and consult regularly with customers and prospects within the entertainment industry, as well as service providers and internal teams.
The ideal Sr. Director/Vice President will be a proven senior leader with past success building and managing account management teams serving the internet and/or entertainment markets and experience in e-commerce and professional services. Success factors will be two-fold: (1) greater-than-industry-standard top-line and bottom-line growth in the e-commerce businesses of each of our valued partnerships, and (2) the establishment of value-added-service relationships that make Delivery Agent an invaluable component of our entertainment partners’ monetization strategies. Though the position will focus primarily on e-commerce, we are extending our expertise into our clients core businesses including online advertising sponsorships and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- This individual will report into and work closely with the COO:
• Manage Large, Complex Client Relationships: Strengthen and broaden existing client relationships as measured by increased profit for Delivery Agent through the addition of new service offerings and increased client satisfaction.
• Client Management: Schedule regular visits to major client sites. Communicate client/customer feedback to the Business Management Team for discussions on how to grow and enhance the business.
• Perform Strategic Planning: Participate in Business Management strategy development and planning.
• Grow eCommerce Business: Utilize selling and consulting knowledge to influence and develop additional services for clients and mine new business opportunities.
• Industry Expertise: Take initiative to learn the industry and more specifically the client's business to offer the best solution for a client.
• People Management: Coach, manage and mentor the existing team, and hire new talent as needed.
• Measure Performance: Develop key performance indicators and deliver performance based on these indicators. Communicate performance to key internal stakeholders and clients where appropriate.
Requirements:
- • 10+ years of professional business experience preferably in a professional services environment.
• Excellent Client Relationship, Team Leadership and Delivery skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards common goals.
• Experience synthesizing client feedback to enhance service offerings, technology, or business strategy at Delivery Agent for the Client.
• Strong account management discipline, processes and structure/staffing to enable and encourage continued growth.
• A thorough understanding of selling service solutions. A high degree of comfort working with a technology product. This includes working effectively with engineers and software developers.
• Experience with high-touch, entertainment, and brand-centric companies would also be desirable, although not necessary.
• Service orientation: having experience in service, delivery and customer focus in an organization that gets things done
• Experiences in project delivery with some technical background.
• Strategic account management and client satisfaction.
• Identifying improvement opportunities and delivering results.
• Bachelor's degree. MBA strongly preferred
