Account Manager, Sports at Delivery Agent in San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:

  • • Act as primary day-to-day client liaison for sports partners.
    • Managing online partner placements and event calendars (i.e. key games/matches, league/team initiatives, off season programs) with partners to ensure alignment of the company, client, and partner goals and objectives.
    • Managing email and banner assets/artwork requests, approvals, and rotation/deployment.
    • Coordinating all project implementations by vertical/business unit team.
    • Working with merchandise manager of vertical to create and implement merchandise strategy to meet store sales goals.
    • Developing a promotional calendar with partner and consumer marketing team to meet/exceed traffic, conversion, and return on marketing investment expectations.
    • Reporting on key metrics to the Managing Director on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Manage the client quarterly review presentation.
    • Recommending and implementing strategic enhancements to ensure overall success of the vertical/business unit.

Requirements:

  • • BA/BS Degree required.
    • 4+ years of work experience, preferably with experience in account management in: e-commerce, sports, entertainment or video game industries.
    • An understanding of, and love of sports is a must.
    • Solid understanding of online and direct marketing programs, writing of creative briefs, and brand management are a must.
    • Knowledge of sports licensing is a bonus.
    • Ability to calculate promotional ROI’s.
    • Strong project management skills with ability to cross manage multiple projects at a time.
    • Great organizational and time management skills on a personal and team level.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role as there is frequent interacting with clients, vendors and other functional areas of the business.
    • Results orientation, great attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
